The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (French: Le Charme discret de la bourgeoisie) is a 1972 French Italian Spanish comedy drama movie directed by Luis Buñuel and starring Fernando Rey, Paul Frankeur, Delphine Seyrig, Stéphane Audran, Bulle Ogier, Jean-Pierre Cassel. The movie was distributed by 20th Century Fox and was a box office hit in both Europe and the US, and critically praised. It won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and was nominated for Best Original Screenplay in 1973.
