This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1970 for the first release of Beneath the Planet of the Apes.
Astronaut Brent, the only survivor of a crash landed spaceship believes that he is on another planet, unaware of the fact that he has travelled to earth's distant future.
This almost 5′ tall STB poster features fantastic artwork. The tatekan STB format had much lower print numbers compared to regular Japanese B2s. They are very rare, especially for more popular film titles, and are highly sought after by collectors today.

The poster has been conservation linen-backed. It is in excellent condition, there are some minor tape marks at the middle of the poster as this poster was displaced in the cinema over 50 years ago, we have taken this into account with the price.
It is 52 years old!
